Learn To Say No Story About Consent For Kids - Glenn The Ghost
Once upon a time in the small town of Oakwood, there lived a friendly little ghost named Glenn. Glenn resided in a cozy old house at the end of Maple Street. He had translucent white skin resembling a cloudy night sky and wore a fancy blue bowtie around his neck. Glenn was always eager to make new friends and bring joy to those around him.
During the day, when most kids were at school, Glenn would roam the town, exploring and enjoying the sights. But as soon as the sun began to set, he returned to his house and magically came to life. Glenn loved this time of day because he could interact with people and make their lives a little brighter.
One evening, while Glenn was floating through the local park, he noticed a group of children playing together. They seemed happy and full of life as they laughed and ran around. Curiosity got the better of Glenn, and he decided to approach them in his usually friendly manner.

As Glenn approached, the children's eyes widened in surprise. It wasn't every day that they encountered a ghost. But Glenn quickly reassured them, "Hello, my name is Glenn, and I mean you no harm. I just wanted to say hello and see if we can be friends."
The children were hesitant at first, but soon they saw how gentle and kind Glenn was. They grew curious about him and his life as a ghost. Glenn gladly answered their questions and shared some amusing ghost stories. The children were fascinated, and before they knew it, they had formed a bond with Glenn.
Days turned into weeks, and Glenn and the children continued to spend time together. They played games, had picnics, and even explored the town's mysterious haunted places. Glenn always made sure the kids were having fun and feeling safe in his presence.
One day, the subject of consent came up during a conversation. The children were curious to understand what it meant and why it was important. Glenn, with his wise ghostly wisdom, explained that consent is about respecting each other's personal boundaries.
"It means that we should always ask for permission before doing something that could affect someone else," Glenn explained. "For example, if someone doesn't want to be touched or hugged, it's essential to respect their wishes and not do it without their consent."
The children listened attentively, eager to understand more. Glenn continued, "Consent is about making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. It applies to actions big and small, such as borrowing someone's belongings or even sharing personal secrets."
The children nodded in understanding, realizing the importance of consent in their daily interactions. They promised Glenn that they would always respect the boundaries of others and ask for permission when necessary. And in return, Glenn promised to always be there for them, guiding and protecting them as their friendly ghost companion.
From that day forward, the children were more mindful of consent and made it a priority in their friendships and relationships. They learned that saying "no" is okay and that their feelings and boundaries deserve respect.
Glenn, with his newfound purpose, continued to be a guiding influence in the lives of those children. He taught them valuable lessons about empathy, understanding, and consent. The children grew up to be responsible individuals who actively respected the boundaries of others and taught other kids about the importance of consent.
Glenn's story became a legend in Oakwood, and generations passed down the tale of the friendly ghost who taught them to say no when necessary and respect personal boundaries.
And so, Glenn the Ghost's legacy lived on, reminding everyone that consent is an essential part of building healthy relationships and treating one another with kindness and respect.
