However, amidst the darkness, a group of incredible women volunteers emerged as beacons of hope and compassion.
The Formation of the Women Volunteer Corps:

This led to the establishment of the Women's Volunteer Corps, an organization primarily composed of Japanese women who desired to serve their country and make a difference.

The issue got known to many people world-wide in the 1990s. Why did we have to wait till the 1990s to know the Comfort Women Issue? Comfort women were not secluded from the people. People knew comfort women. Not only soldiers who used their service but people in general, including their families and neighbors knew the comfort women. So why didn’t we know the Comfort Women Issue on a real-time basis? Why did we have to wait for about four decades to know the Comfort Women Issue? Korean people, in particular, should have known much earlier. The answer is clear and simple. It was fabricated after WWII. It is leftist’s propaganda.
